Delivery and Handling

SHIPPING CHARGES (IF APPLICABLE) WILL BE NOTIFIED TO YOU AFTER WE HAVE CHECKED AND CONFIRMED THE AVAILABILITY OF THE ITEMS IN YOUR ORDER.  

YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT WILL ONLY BE PROCESSED ONCE WE HAVE PICKED YOUR ORDER AND YOU HAVE APPROVED ANY APPLICABLE SHIPPING CHARGES.

In this policy, “us”, “we”, or “our” means Hindustan Imports, operators of this website.

"Melbourne Metro area" means the area defined by us (refer to Map to left of screen) for which orders may qualify for free delivery.

 MINIMUM ORDER

  • Melbourne metropolitan area:  A minimum purchase order value of $90.00 applies in order to qualify for free delivery within the Melbourne Metro area.  Orders below $90.00 will still be accepted.  However, a shipping charge may apply.

  • All other areas:  No minimum order requirements apply.  However, all orders will be subject to a shipping charge.

SHIPPING CHARGES

  • Delivery within the Melbourne Metro area is free of charge, for orders which meet the minimum purchase order value of $90.00.
  • Any orders below the minimum purchase order value of $90.00 (if accepted) will incur a $15.00 delivery fee within the Melbourne Metro area.  
  • For deliveries outside the Melbourne Metro area, including interstate orders, the customer will be responsible for all freight charges. Freight charges vary depending on the order size and distance for delivery.

  • The order shall be despatched in good condition and in good faith and no responsibility is accepted for goods damaged in transit.     

  • The order shall be despatched ASAP and certainly within five (5) business days, following the receipt of the customer's order.  The customer will be notified in the event of any extended delays in despatch.

  • Delivery will be made Monday to Friday during normal business hours. The customer must be present at the shipping address to accept delivery during this time or otherwise provide other instructions at the time of placing the order.

  • If the customer is not present at the shipping address to accept delivery and therefore we are unable to complete delivery, the delivery charge (if any) will still apply and the order will be made available for collection in-store.

  • Should the customer redirect the order to another delivery address or request re-delivery of the order, an additional delivery fee will apply.

  • We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if we are delayed in making delivery at the specified address for any reason whatsoever outside our control .

  • The buyer also has the option for the collection of the order personally or making alternate freighting/shipping arrangements.
